Government of India is celebrating ‘Digital Week’ a flag ship programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. For this reason the Digital India Week (DIW) is being planned by the Government to spread awareness about the e-services/products/Schemes under the Digital India programme at various national, State, District, Gram Panchayat, school level etc. In this connection, Hon’ble Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi is launching Digital India Week on 1st July 2015 at 4.00pm(IST) at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, ITO, Vikram Nagar, New Delhi. Alternatively, Consulate General of India will be screening the inaugural on 2nd July 2015 at the Indian Consulate premises at 344 St Kilda Road, Melbourne, Vic 3004 from 1100 hrs. Anybody who is interested is welcome to attend the screening.
