Know India Programme
Ministry is organizing the next edition of Know India Programme (KIP) to familiarize Indian Diaspora youth with India’s culture, heritage and also with contemporary India. KIP will be for duration of 25 days, of which participants will spend nearly 10 days in a select State. Focus of next KIP will be “Maharashtra State”, and is scheduled from 07 May to 01 June, 2016.
The highlight of this year’s KIP is a tour of Maharashtra, on board the luxury train "Deccan Odyssey", thanks to the support of the State Government of Maharashtra.
This programme is open only for Indian origin Diaspora youth in age group of 18-26 years. NRIs are not eligible. Preference would be given to PIOs who have not visited India so far.
Completed application form should be submitted by PIOs to this Consulate on vcons@cgimelb.org. Last date for submission of this form is 10th April 2016.
