Vasudeva Kriya Yoga, Melbourne organised the 4th Surya Yajna in Dandenong Ranges on 08 June 2014. The founder of the Vasudeva Kriya Yoga, Rajendra Yenkannamoole, has been conducting yoga classes in various locations in Melbourne since 2004. According to him, Vasudeva Kriya Yoga classes have been designed to accommodate any aspirant irrespective of their age, gender, physical ability and religion.
As part of G20 Australia 2014, BRICS-NDB meeting on 20-21 June 2014, G-20 Finance Deputies Meeting on 22-23 June 2014, Sherpa Meeting on 23-24 June 2014 and Joint meeting of G-20 Finance Deputies and Sherpa on 22 & 23 June 2014 were held in Melbourne. Dr. Arvind Mayaram, Finance Secretary, Dr Urjit Patel, Deputy Governor, RBI and Dr. Usha Titus, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Finance, had represented Government of India in these meetings.
