PIO scheme withdrawn w.e.f. 09/01/2015
PIO Scheme has been withdrawn w.e.f 09.01.2015 by the Government of India vide Gazette Notification No-25024/9/2014-F.I dated 09.01.2015.
Accordingly, individuals, eligible for PIO, may now apply for OCI cards w.e.f 09.01.2015
All PIO Cards are deemed to be OCI card as notified by the Government of India vide its Gazette Notification No-26011/01/2014-IC.I dated 9.1.2015
